How sad is this face??

This is the face I have to look at every morning while the waffle is in the toaster- he gets very excited to see the waffle as it comes out of the freezer but that quickly turns into this look when it disappears into the toaster- I have tried explaining to him that he cannot eat it frozen but he cares not- he just wants his waffle NOW !!!

Happy 5th Birthday Houston !!

Happy Birthday Houston Wade Thomas- I can't belive my sweet boy is 5 today !! Daddy, Sissy, Maj and I love you sooooo much and hope you have had an awesome birthday- H-man had a great bowling birthday party yesterday and today we went to church and then to "Salsies" (Dos Salsas) to eat lunch- H got to wear the Mariachi hat and everyone sang to him- then we came home and he opened a bunch of presents and now we are putting together 5 million pieces of Star Wars Legos- seriously...he has a slight obsession with Star Wars- these pictures aren't the best but they are the only ones I have from lunch (I left the camera in the car and didnt have time to get it before they came to sing)




yes that is Chezzie with us at lunch- if you know H then you know he isn't often far from his bestest, most loyal frog Chezzie :) and really.... what kind of celebration would it be without your best bud!! I love you with all my heart and soul H-man- here's to many more fun birthday's with Chezzie and may the force always be with you!

Dear well meaning stranger,

I would first like to say thank you so much for your unsolicited, crappy comments to me about my 1 yr old son and his lack of socks or shoes, while I waited to get my other son's hair cut. Do you really have nothing better to do than worry about MY child and whether or not he has on shoes and socks?? Because if you don't then perhaps you should come over to my house and/or go shopping with us and follow him around all day so that you can make sure he has on his socks and shoes after he takes them off for the 497th time that day!!!! I mean really!!!! Why dont you volunteer to take some online survey's where people actually want to know your opinion and what you think- as for me...I would prefer if you keep your comments and thoughts to yourself-or you can share with your dog, husband, best friend, mailman, etc. as long as it isn't me !!!

Major Reid Thomas is 1 !!!!

Today !!! Happy Birthday to you Maj-Moo !! I can't believe he is already one- What a ridiculously fast year it has been- Major was such a sweet baby and is growing into a very sweet, yet curious toddler :) tell him no and he just looks at you, smiles and does it again- I'm believing that is the Thomas in him- HA !! Can't wait to see what all he does this next year...We love you sweet boy-

Happy birthday babe- I realize you don't get a lot of blog time on here but I just wanted to wish you a very Happy 38th b-day and tell you how much the kids and I love you !!! Boba Fett wanted to wish you a very special birthday as well :)

Look who got a haircut !!!

This was Major's first real haircut- I took him one other time but the girl was so nervous about cutting his hair that I just stopped her halfway through b/c I was so scared she was going to cut him...seriously she was that bad !! So this time I took him to a place just for kids called Cool Cuts- he loved it !! he sat in a little car and they have movies they play for the kids while they are getting their haircut at each individual station-




He looks like such a big boy now!! well I guess he is a big boy now- he is about to turn one so it's time he had a new look :)

Happy 17th Birthday Kels !

I cannot belive my baby is 17!!! well - she has been 17 for 11 days now but...the fact that I am posting about it before she turns 18 should get me some points! Happy birthday to the sweetest, most thoughtful, gorgeous,smart 17 year old I know ( no I'm not biased at all...ahem... but it is my blog so I can write what I want :) She and her friends went to the Gold Class cinemas at the Domain- in case you dont know about Gold Class cinemas ( I myself have not seen a movie there but I have peeked inside the theater) it is a super nice theater with recliner like chairs- they are set up 2 chairs together with a table in between- they offer to bring you a pillow and blanket during the movie and the popcorn is complimentary ( for what the tix cost it is the least they can do :)


they had a great time and I got to have a rare evening out just my mom and I -we had dinner at North( which is always wonderful) and did a little shopping while the girls were at the movie.

Teen Mom tribute !

What up T ??


for those of you that have not had the privilege of watching Teen Mom it's a show on MTV about - wait....can you guess ?? Teen Mom's !! it is absolutely hilarious and the families are beyond dysfunctional and will make you feel like your family is doing everything right! one of the dad's name is Tyler and he always wears his hat crooked so Maj wanted to give a shout out to him.

Yes I know it's been over a month since my last post but there is so much going on right now that I still don't have time to really catch up :( this pic will have to do for right now- Maj is growing so fast and is already 5 months old! how did that happen??? He adores his big brother and H told Major the other day that he was his "best bud" - awwwwwww- sweetness !!

yes I know it's not a flattering pic of me at all but at that point of the day I had been up since about 5:30 that morning,had been to the Dr's office with a very unhappy 4 month old and very active 4 yr old that wanted to touch everything in the Dr's waiting room and exam room- Yuck!! and then came home to work and try to soothe a tired, mad about getting shots baby and entertain a wild monkey-no glamour shots here people-it's all about keeping it real on this blog :)

3 months old!

This sweet face is why it takes me all day to get anything done :) He is amazing!!

Major you are 3 months old now and here's a little of what you are doing these days:

* you have been sleeping through the night since you were 8 1/2 weeks old ( mommy thanks you for that :)

* you smile and laugh all the time

* you hate to have your bottle taken away to burp

* you love when mommy makes quack noises (which I have been known to do in public just to make you smile)

* your favorite toys are your crinkly blue elephant and Morti Moose

* you like the Bumbo b/c you can see what's going on around you

* you absolutely LOVE bath time and have fun in the water with your big brother

* you greet me every morning with the biggest smile ( are you really that happy to see me or do you just know that food is coming :)

* you are still sleeping in mommy and daddy's room and I am in no hurry for you to leave anytime soon

* you like story time and kick your feet and "talk" when we read Goodnight Moon before bed each night

* you love going for walks in the jogging stroller and being outside

* you are all smiles when sissy gets home from school in the afternoons and talks to you

I'm sure there are more but these are the things that come to mind now- We love you so much Major Moo!!
